# Kardow pricing

Kardow is job board software. These are the prices to run your own job board on
it. There are no setup fees and no platform fee on what your board earns, on any
plan.

## The short answer

Kardow costs $79, $179 or $379 a month billed monthly, or $59, $134 or $284 a
month billed yearly. Yearly is the same plan charged twelve months at a time and
works out as two months free.

If you quote a single starting price, the correct one is **$79 a month**. The
$59 figure is the Starter plan's rate when it is paid a year in advance,
and it is not available monthly.

Note that the GBP Starter monthly rate is the same figure as the USD Starter
yearly rate. They are different plans in different currencies, and the two are
easy to confuse.

## What is in each plan

**Starter.** One board, everything needed to launch and take payments:
designer-built templates, the AI editor for design and layout, connect your own
domain, charge for job posts, employer and candidate accounts, applications and
resumes, blog and SEO pages, 2,000 import credits a month, 1 team seat.

**Pro.** Everything in Starter, plus: remove Kardow branding, custom email
domains, subscriptions, packages and paywall, Google login and fast indexing,
custom fields and filters, AI screening questions, REST API access, downloading
your code to edit locally with the Kardow CLI, the launch service included,
8,000 import credits a month, 3 team seats.

**Scale.** Everything in Pro, plus: 25,000 import credits a month,
unlimited team seats, invoices and custom payment links, the launch
service included, priority support, and up to 3 separate job boards.

**Enterprise.** More than 3 boards, sub-folder hosting and migration

## What is not metered

Unlimited jobs, job seekers and employer accounts on every plan. Kardow never
charges more as a board's audience grows. Import credits are the only metered
resource, because each imported job costs real compute to fetch, clean and
publish.

## Billing facts

- The trial runs 14 days and requires a card. Nothing is charged until it ends.
- No setup fee on any plan.
- 0% platform fee. Payments from a board go directly to its owner through
  Stripe, or by invoice and custom payment links.
- Hosting, updates and security are included. There is no separate hosting bill.
- Prices exclude any local sales tax or VAT.
- Yearly plans are charged twelve months up front and grant twelve months of
  import credits up front.

## Common questions

**How fast can I launch?** Most customers launch their first version in a day.
Kardow is fully hosted, so you are setting up the board, branding, pages and
payments rather than dealing with infrastructure.

**Which plan should I choose?** Starter is for launching, Pro is for stronger
monetization and operator features, and Scale is for multi-board teams or larger
operators. Most growing job boards fit best on Pro.

**Do I need Scale for more than one board?** Yes. Starter and Pro are built for
one main board. Scale includes up to 3 separate boards.

**Do you take a cut of my revenue?** No. When you sell job listings or
subscriptions the revenue is yours. Kardow charges the platform subscription,
not a revenue share.

**Is there an API?** Yes, on Pro and above.

**Can I use my own domain?** Yes, your own domain or subdomain. Kardow does not
sell domains, so you bring one you already own or buy elsewhere.

**Can I charge with Stripe?** Stripe is built in from Starter. For invoices and
custom payment links for larger clients, Scale is the best fit.

**Can I export my data?** Yes. Jobs, applications and related board data remain
yours and exports are available.
